Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Patient Care: Conduct thorough assessments, complete physical examinations, and collect vital clinical data.
• Diagnostic Expertise: Order and interpret diagnostic tests, diagnose medical conditions, and administer treatments.
• Clinical Leadership: Serve as a resource and team leader during clinical shifts, ensuring smooth patient processing and discharge.
• Mentorship: Act as a mentor to new staff and physician assistant students, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and coding for effective billing.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program - required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Proficiency in computerized medical recordkeeping and billing systems
• Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills
• HIPAA compliance is a must
• NP License - required upon hire
• ATLS and BCLS certifications - required upon hire
