Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) night shift position requiring Level IV NICU and surgical experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
• Patient population includes neonates with complex surgical and medical needs such as CDH, MAS, NEC, TEF/EA, abdominal wall defects, BPD, and pulmonary hypertension
• 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a, with every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Float to other departments within the hospital and cross-campus to another NICU as needed
• Holiday scheduling requires working either Christmas Day or the day before/after Christmas
• Must care for neonates with pre/peri/post-operative needs and complex diagnoses
• Facility enforces a nicotine-free policy for all staff
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Team members may be floated to meet patient care needs across multiple NICUs

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
• Level IV and surgical NICU experience required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred
• Flu vaccination required with no exceptions or declinations
• Must pass a nicotine screening
