GENERAL SUMMARY

Responsible for the planning, daily oversight, and performance of the Talent Acquisition team, leading recruiting and talent sourcing efforts. This position will supervise teammates and also serve as a recruiter, as needed, to perform full lifecycle recruiting including sourcing, posting jobs, candidate screening, extending offers, and assisting the workforce planning activities, while maintaining excellent relationships with hiring managers, candidates and the community at-large. Serves as a primary point of contact for refueling outage staffing activities.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Leadership Provide effective leadership and oversight to the Talent Acquisition teammates. Prioritize, coordinate, and monitor work, demonstrating sensitivity to customer service and effective issues resolution. Assist teammates with developing skills, knowledge and abilities. Consulting & Recruiting Consult with internal customers; facilitate discussions regarding recruiting and selection; ensuring that decisions adhere to corporate policies, guidelines, and requirements. Create partnerships with internal stakeholders to offer guidance and advice on selection related issues for professional level positions across the agency. Create recruitment plans and service level agreements. Proactively keep hiring managers informed of the status of the requisition and recommend next steps for timely selection. Sourcing and Screening Candidates Review résumés and job sites, search online and offline locations to find high quality candidates for open requisitions. Provide guidance in the development of job postings that clearly communicate the requirements and entice candidates to join the agency. Engage search firms when required and manage the engagement ensuring deadlines are met and all parties are well informed. Networking Network and build relationships within the agency to generate referrals. Maintain positive and professional relationships with all potential candidates so they maintain a positive image of EN and would be willing to pursue other internal opportunities. Attend and coordinate attendance for job fairs, industry and professional association events to source candidates, share the EN employee proposition, and encourage them to apply for open and future positions. Reporting, Data Analytics and Problem-Solving Serve as the applicant tracking system (ATS) subject matter expert for the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) recruiting functional area. Develop, modify, and pull reports from production and legacy HRIS. Compile relevant data (e.g., workforce plans, underutilization data, industry news, and internal metrics) to identify and raise concerns such as difficult to fill positions, poor offer acceptance rates, etc. Recommend solutions to leadership at all levels to assist with workforce health metrics and/or other trending concerns. Refueling Outage Staffing Serves as a primary point of contact for the refueling outage staffing activities for the agency. Coordinates with EN leaders to identify temporary staffing needs. Creates and oversees process for on-boarding large group hiring sessions. Obtain and train temporary HR employee(s) as necessary, and ensuring accurate documentation and files are maintained. Special Projects & Roles Complete special projects as assigned and provide backup to HR department director when requested. Support organizational efforts and serve in an on-call role for EN’s Emergency Response Organization. Serve in an outage and/or pre-outage role as needed to support EN’s biannual refueling outages.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other social science degree from an accredited college or university and ten years of professional level experience in HR or related field (organizational development, project management involving workforce planning, etc), OR a high school diploma or GED and fourteen years of related professional experience in HR or related field. Functional experience must include at least one following areas: recruiting, workforce planning and readiness, organizational development/effectiveness, project management, HRIS/HRMS, or business management. This position is open until filled. Pay Range $119,107.00 - $178,661.00 Annual Midpoint: $148,884.00 Typically, selected candidates are hired between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on applicable experience and qualifications, market rate, internal equity, and budgetary allowances. Offers will be negotiated based on each candidate's qualifications. Incentive Compensation This role may be eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan. Incentives are earned based on employee performance against defined metrics and company goals.
