Job Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on, community-oriented General Manager to lead our fast food restaurant located in a small town where relationships and reputation matter. The ideal candidate is a natural leader who values quality, consistency, and genuine hospitality. This is a key role for someone who takes pride in being part of the community, knows their guests by name, and leads a team with heart and hustle.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations including guest service, food quality, cleanliness, and team performance
Recruit, hire, train, and develop a reliable and friendly team
Foster a welcoming environment and build strong relationships with guests and the local community
Lead by example in delivering fast, accurate service and maintaining high food safety standards
Monitor labor, food costs, and inventory to stay within budget and meet sales goals
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health regulations
Handle scheduling, payroll approvals, and daily reporting
Address guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and care
Participate in local events, promotions, or partnerships that support the community
Drive a culture of respect, teamwork, and accountability
Qualifications:
2+ years of management experience in a fast food, QSR, or casual dining environment
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Passion for hospitality and genuine care for team and community
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
Proficiency with POS systems, basic reporting, and labor management
ServSafe or food safety certification (or willingness to obtain)
Preferred Qualities:
Experience managing in small-town or rural communities
Community engagement experience (school events, local fundraisers, etc.)
Bilingual skills are a plus
