Position: Yard Guard

  Location: Plattsburgh, NY

  Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 36/48 Rotation Schedule (Three days on, four days off, then four on, three off)

What You’ll Do:

• Be the first line of defense by verifying driver credentials and paperwork.
• Log incoming vehicles and notify staff of deliveries.
• Keep a watchful eye on the yard, especially during quieter hours.
• Ensure safety protocols are always followed.
• Be the calm, collected presence that everyone relies on.

What You Bring to the Table:

• 1+ year of security or similar experience.
• A sharp eye and razor-sharp attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Steel-toed boots and the strength to lift 25 lbs.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication.

Compensation & Perks:

• $16.00/hour starting pay
• Benefits after just 90 days
• Full-time schedule with plenty of days off to recharge
