Do you have what it takes to be an RN Wound/Treatment Nurse with CommuniCare?

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Current RN or LPN license in the state.
Wound Certification preferred.
Current CPR certification required, ACLS preferred.
Experience in healthcare settings, preferably in treatment nursing care.
Supervisory experience in a long-term care center is a plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform treatments, dressing changes, and manage infection control following center policies.
Conduct routine monthly replacements of gastric tubes and Foley catheters.
Perform trach care and suctioning.
Document treatment recommendations and progress in nurse notes and required reports.
Collaborate with attending physicians on treatment procedures or products.
Manage treatment supplies from the pharmacy or central supply as needed.
