Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator responsible for setting up and operating sheet metal brake presses and tube benders. The role requires adherence to strict safety standards and involves forming various parts by following part prints and using different measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate sheet metal brake presses and tube benders.
• Form various metal components of different sizes and metal types.
• Understand and apply different tooling configurations with limited guidance.
• Follow part prints and use measuring devices accurately.
• Maintain adherence to strict safety standards at all times.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, panel wiring, electrical assembly, or related field."Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, wiring standards, and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision and efficiency.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of pressure testing procedures, leak detection methods, and chiller systems is a plus.
• Experience with PLC wiring and troubleshooting preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work effectively in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

The role is based in a large plant environment that is non-temperature controlled. Employees are expected to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs (non-repetitive), and stoop as required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.53 - $30.35/hr.
