Warehouse Worker - Participate in PPI Tech warehouse operations and activities. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
• Pick and pack customer orders
• Label items around the warehouse
• Perform inventory control of the warehouse
• Keep a clean and safe working environment
• Report any discrepancies
• Communicate and cooperate with coworkers and Warehouse Managers
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations Warehouse Jobs
Qualifications - The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform our warehouse jobs.
• Proven work experience as a warehouse worker or similar role
• Prior experience working in a warehouse
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to operate Forklift and Pallet Jack
• Ability to lift heavy objects (lifting up 60lbs)
Physical Demands of the Warehouse Job
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
• Able to stand throughout the work shift
• Able to walk up and down stairs.
• Short distance walking within work area.
• Able to bend, stoop, or kneel as needed throughout the shift.
• Without strain, must regularly lift and /or move up to 45 pounds
• Able to identify and distinguish colors
• Able to operate Warehouse equipment (Pallet Jack / Forklift)
• Loading and unloading of trucks / Van deliveries
Required :
• Valid Drivers License/State issued ID Card
• Background Check • Drug Test
