ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a travel job in Berkeley, California.

\nDosimetrist - Dosimetrist
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Provide care to patients ages adolescent through geriatric receiving radiation therapy treatments
\n• Work with physical and geometric characteristics of radiation equipment and radioactive sources
\n• Measure and generate radiation dose distributions and calculations under direction of Oncologist and/or Medical Physicist
\n• Handle daily census of 30-40 patients with all disease sites including liver, brain, lung, breast, prostate, bone, and head/neck
\n• Perform special procedures including SRS, SBRT, and HDR
\n• Work with 2 linear accelerators and 1 CT sim equipment
\n• Required certification: CMD (Certified Medical Dosimetrist)
\n• Minimum 2 years of experience required
\n• Epic charting experience preferred
\n• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
\n• Valid state license required at time of submission
\n• All certifications must be AHA and in hand at time of submittal
\n• Complete orientation modules through e-learning (1-5 hours average)
\n• 50 miles travel requirement applies
\n• Only one holiday will be approved for time off
\n• Must disclose any background hits or DUIs prior to submission
