Trading Assistant (Part-time) | Temporary position $20-$21/hr. | On-Site Wayne, PA

We are seeking a Trading Assistant to support traders, department managers, and purchasing teams with administrative and operational tasks. This role involves assisting with reporting, vendor coordination, order processing, customer communication, and other essential functions to ensure smooth business operations.

This is a part-time temporary position requiring approximately 15-20 hours per week.

A day in the life of a Trading Assistant

• Generate and manage sales reports and shipment notifications
• Maintain vendor records and assist with CRM updates
• Coordinate late shipment resolutions and customer inquiries
• Process contract orders, claims, and invoice corrections
• Serve as a liaison between purchasing and accounting
• Support inventory audits and customer order pickups
• Handle administrative duties, including answering department calls

Requirements for the Trading Assistant position

• High school diploma required, associate’s degree in business or related field preferred
• 0-3 years of relevant experience in administrative, customer service, or trading support roles
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with the ability to learn internal systems
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
