TIG Welder

Join our dynamic team as a TIG Welder, where you will apply your skills in a supportive and growth-oriented environment. This position requires expertise in TIG welding, primarily on stainless steel, with some MIG welding on aluminum. Operating on a 1st shift schedule, this role offers a work-life balance with hours from 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Fridays. Flexibility to work full days or Saturdays when needed is a must.

Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG welding primarily on stainless steel and MIG welding on aluminum.
• Assemble hand railings for commercial and residential properties.
• Pass an onsite simple weld test, demonstrating horizontal and vertical welding skills.
• Utilize existing TIG experience to contribute effectively with minimal training.
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Stand and work on feet throughout the entire shift.
• Work with 16-18" gauge materials.

Essential Skills:

• Proven experience in TIG welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with MIG welding and fabrication.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with schematic reading.
• Proficiency in working with stainless steel.

Work Environment:

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salisbury, NC.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
