Full Job Description UPS STORE New Hudson (96/Milford Rd) MI IS HIRING STORE ASSISTANT/STORE MANAGER in training FULL TIME Hourly position.
The Store Manager in Training is designed to advance you to be a Store leader,by participating in a self paced ,collaborative training over a span of 18 weeks to prepare be a Store Manager.
You will be responsible for the daily tasks of the store. The ideal candidate will have meticulous attention to detail and prior retail/UPS Store experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
- Continuously practices good listening skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and leadership
- Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions
- Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends
- Operates all equipment, software, and devices
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment
- Stays current with web-based training and best practices
- Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
- Empathizes and manages to demand, impatient, and/or frustrated customers to turn a stressful event into a positive experience
- Packages shipments for safe arrival, including assembling stock boxes, building custom boxes, and properly cushioning contents
- Takes ownership of customers packing, shipping, and/or print problems and offers viable solutions
- Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math
- Prompt, reliable, and responsible
- Able to work collaboratively
- Able to lift 40+ pounds
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong digital print background is Desired. Previous UPS Experience ,He or she must be a fast learner who makes an effort to learn all aspects of the business in the shortest possible time.
