Our client, a social justice non-profit, seeks a driven, versatile HR Coordinator to join their team. The ideal candidate possesses previous experience overseeing internship programs, which includes working with academic institutions and developing intern policies, procedures, and standards. Furthermore, prior experience handling onboarding and oritentation, organizing projects that match employee skillsets, and maintaing accurate records are also critical facets of the role. In addition, past performance management experience, excellent organization and communication skills, and an ability to maintain confidentiality are other characteristics of a strong applicant for the position. Familitarity with HRIS systems such as Paycom and JazzHR are also key pieces of the role that would allow for an individual to excel in this role. If this sounds like you, please apply to learn more.
Bachelor's degree, required
2+ years in the field of human resources
Prior experience in intern recruitment, onboarding, and a basic understanding of HR functions
Proficiency in HR softwares and Microsoft Office Applications
Strong organizational, analytical, and communications skills
A team-oriented, positive attitude and a willingness to learn about HR-related best practices
The hourly rate for this role is $26-$28/hr.
Compensation commensurate with experience.
