Tax Manager

$115,000 - $140,000

Role Overview:

As a Tax Manager with our client, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the preparation and review of tax returns, including those for Partnerships (1065), S and C Corporations (1120), Individuals (1040), and more. Your expertise will drive consulting and tax-saving strategies tailored to meet our clients' unique needs. Additionally, you will handle tax field exams, resolve tax notices, and address routine tax inquiries while identifying opportunities to offer further services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of various tax returns.
• Develop and implement effective tax-saving strategies for clients.
• Manage and resolve tax field exams and notices.
• Address routine tax questions and conduct in-depth tax research.
• Foster and maintain strong client relationships by delivering exceptional service.
• Build and expand your professional network
• Assist in the training, development, and management of junior staff members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; MST preferred.
• CPA License.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in public accounting, specifically within a mid-market firm.
