We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SVP of Structured Finance to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for originating, underwriting, and managing a portfolio of commercial real estate loans, private equity finance and the MSR finance business. This role requires a deep understanding of the commercial real estate markets, private equity markets, and mortgage servicing business. Role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients, and to build a team consisting of underwriting and loan administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loan Origination: Identify and develop new business opportunities in the commercial real estate, private equity, and MSF finance business. Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients.
• Underwriting: Conduct thorough financial analysis and risk assessment of loan applications. Collaborate with credit on approvals. Prepare detailed credit memos and present recommendations to the credit committee.
• Portfolio Management: Monitor and manage a portfolio of commercial real estate, private equity finance and MSR loans. Ensure compliance with loan covenants and address any issues that arise.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders. Provide exceptional customer service and support.
• Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, property values, and economic conditions that may impact the commercial real estate and MSR markets.
• Compliance: Ensure all lending activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Team Building: Identify talent to grow a team consisting of underwriting, loan administration and sales.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial real estate lending with knowledge of private equity finance and MSR financing (or a related field).
• Strong understanding of commercial real estate markets and lending practices.
• Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate, or a related field.
