Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Supervising Physician with a valid MD license in Alabama to join our team. This role offers the flexibility of remote supervision while ensuring compliance with Alabama's guidelines.

In this position, you will collaborate with Nurse Practitioners (NPs), providing oversight as required, although immediate assistance is seldom needed due to the nature of our disability assessments.

• Review 10% of charts on a quarterly basis.
• Conduct quarterly check-ins with practitioners to ensure quality and compliance.
• The Physician must be located within a reasonable distance from the site or arrange for a covering physician for emergencies.
• You will oversee NP maintenance of a log of reviewed charts and be available for consultation.
• This role is perfect for physicians looking to supplement their income by supervising NPs who are not engaged in treating or prescribing.

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Alabama Medical License.
