Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Structural Welder Fabricator for a Direct Hire role in Atlanta, GA

•        This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental etc
•        Pay Range: $20 - $26/h (depending on experience)
•       2 ND  Shift (3:30 PN - 1 AM) is Mon-Thur with OT opportunity on Friday

Responsibilities for Welder Fabricator

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the required welding processes and methods
• Use specialized equipment to weld and fabricate metal components according to the specific project requirements
• Measure and mark metal materials for cutting and shaping
• Inspect and ensure the quality of the fabricated metal components
• Collaborate with the project team to plan and organize the welding tasks based on project priorities and timelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and guidelines
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools, and report any issues or maintenance needs to the supervisor

Requirements for Welder Fabricator

• Proven experience as a Welder Structural Fabricator or a similar role in the construction industry
• Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
• Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes and materials
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Familiarity with welding codes, standards, and safety procedures
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Physical strength and stamina to work in a demanding construction environment
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with the project team
