Salary: $110K+ DOE

Connexus Hub is a professional services firm that works with Government Agencies and Fortune 500 customers. We are hiring for an IT Strategic Planning.

Job type: W2 + benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k, vacation, sick)

Location: Remote + travel to Atlanta GA (A minimum of 1 in-person meeting per quarter with a maximum of 3)

Duties:

  • Assist OCIO to develop regular IT strategic plans in support of the agency. These efforts and resulting plans enable leaders to identify aspirational goals and their supporting tactical activities; create alignment and engagement among staff; and communicate priorities to key stakeholders, including partners at the national, departmental, and congressional levels
  • Develop office and organizational strategic plans that are coordinated and cascading, as appropriate, to achieve agency outcomes.
  • Conduct leadership retreats to evaluate and refine strategies.
  • Create action plans for implementation across OCIO offices.
  • Execute change management and communication activities to support strategic plan development and implementation.
  • Establish approaches and/or tools for tracking and reporting progress against strategic plans.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of defined strategies and performance, provide recommendations for iterations of future plans.
  • Develop an annual report of OCIO accomplishments.
  • Facilitate and draft an IT and Data Strategic Plan.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Strategic Planning experience, preferably with Government agencies.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally.
  • Be flexible and able to quickly adapt to the dynamic and evolving operating environment.
  • Fully understand quality expectations and be continuous improvement oriented.
  • Be a team player and be willing to take ownership for the quality of services and work products.
  • Be proficient in the use of the Microsoft (MS) Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook) software and other applications applicable to assigned support service area being worked in.
  • If necessary, be able to multi-task, yet be attentive to details.
  • Able to exercise independent technical and professional judgment in the area working.
  • Attentive to details.
