Salary: $125,000 - $170,000 per year
A bit about us: We're partnered with a globally recognized AmLaw50 firm that is currently seeking a Senior Corporate Paralegal to join their Palo Alto office. The incoming paralegal will provide sophisticated support and corporate maintenance on complex business transactions for public and private companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the formation, maintenance, and dissolution of corporate entities
- Manage transaction closings and create associated closing materials
- Compile legal opinion letters and gather supporting documentation
- Create and submit corporate governance and securities-related filings
- Issue share certificates and track equity ownership tables and stock option documentation
- Investigate state securities law compliance matters and submit necessary state-level filings
- Provide backup support across the corporate department as needed
We are seeking paralegals with 5+ years of transactional experience in private equity, capital markets, and/or mergers & acquisitions. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive base compensation ($125k - $170k), comprehensive firm-sponsored benefits, annual bonuses and raises, generous PTO, professional development opportunities, and a wellness reimbursement program for gym memberships, classes, and other active expenses.
