Job Description

Are you a passionate and experienced Special Education Teacher who loves making a difference in the lives of K-12 students? We're looking for a full-time Special Education Teacher to join our team and help students achieve their full potential, from elementary through high school.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement personalized educational plans that address the unique needs of K-12 students, including those with diverse learning styles and requirements.
Work closely with fellow educators to design and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's goals.
Regularly assess and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching methods to support their academic growth.
Maintain open and supportive communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress.
Actively participate in IEP meetings to contribute to the development of effective and customized educational strategies.

Qualifications:

A valid Kansas State License as a Special Education Teacher is required.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
Proven experience in special education, with the ability to support students across elementary, middle, and high school.
Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
A commitment to ongoing professional growth and a passion for student-centered teaching.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 20.00 25.00 Per Hour
