Job Summary

Minimum of 3 years Small Engine Experience.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Small Engine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in small engine repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose issues and provide effective solutions. This role involves working with various types of equipment, including lawn mowers, chainsaws, and other small machinery. A commitment to excellent customer service and teamwork is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair small engines, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups.
• Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand engine systems and components.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service delivery.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
• Assist in sales by recommending additional services or products based on customer needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a service technician or mechanic specializing in small engines.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment related to engine repair.
• Knowledge of automotive repair principles and vehicle maintenance practices.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting purposes.
• Welding skills are a plus for certain repair tasks.
• Previous experience in a dealership setting is advantageous but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• A detail-oriented approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
