The Security Officer I is an active member in the Security Team as well as the First Responder Team. This individual provides a wide variety of safety and security activities and services. The Security Officer I maintains a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. Work shift is Friday to Sunday night shifts, specifically Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. Minimum education required is a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred post high school education emphasizing security or law enforcement. No minimum experience required, but one year in protective services or safety-related field or current enrollment in safety or security coursework is preferred. Certifications required within 6 months of start date include a State of Wisconsin valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record, Basic Life Support (BLS) or First Aid certification awarded by the American Heart Association, First Responder Certification, and Non-violent Crisis Intervention training. The position is part of Marshfield Clinic Health System, which is committed to accessible, affordable, and compassionate healthcare.
