As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a premier commercial real estate location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your presence will help create a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain visibility, and communicate clearly with guests and staff, playing a key role in supporting a secure and positive atmosphere.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Assist visitors, tenants, and staff with inquiries, providing customer service while following site-specific security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports and logs as required by site policies.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders as directed during incidents and/or emergencies.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific policies, procedures, and post orders while performing duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
