• $20.00 / hour
• Shifts

  • Hospital Rover 0000-0800 Monday - Friday

  • Hospital Rover 0800-1600 Sun- Thurs

Role Duties:

• Provide a dedicated professional Security Presence in a healthcare setting

• Promote Patient Safety with consistent patrols, De-escalation Tactics, and a focus on compassionate care

• Assist medical staff in high-intensity incidents & emergencies

• Conduct Patient safety screenings, Provide access control, and customer service assistance

• Complete accurate after-action reports for incidents and calls for service.

• Assist the medical tea with medical restraints as trained, transport deceased patients to the morgue

• Maintain Hospital Safety and security policies and patient safety and dignity with the highest level of professionalism

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED verifiable by a 3rd party background check
• At least 2 years of verifiable work history with no gaps in employment more than 90 days
• Ability to pass a federal 10-panel drug test
• Willing to undergo TB bloodwork and vaccination compliance requirements
• Ability to remain calm, confident, and reliable in stressful situations
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to stand/walk long periods and respond quickly when needed
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

• Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, elite military forces, and combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
• Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
• Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies
• A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch
• Associate’s degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service
