Title: SAP Basis Consultant

Location: NJ

Duration: 12 Months

Rates: Plus expenses

SAP Experience:

• SAP Experience Minimum of 10 years hands-on working in a multitude of SAP environments as a Basis administrator.
• Experience as SAP administrator with installation, upgrade, configuration, migration and tuning of SAP systems.

Relevant Work Experience

• Minimum of 10 years overall technical experience with an ability to leverage the technical skills in an SAP environment. Strong BOBJ Migration Exp

Description:

The BASIS administrator has experience performing installations, upgrades, migrations and tuning of SAP systems. He/She has strong Netweaver skills with the ability to perform all aspects of SAP work. He/She has experience in all SAP platforms and has the ability to confer and work with all support and development organizations to address support and build issues. UNIX, ABAP, Java and Oracle related experience is required to help maintain and optimize current configurations. He/She also aids the BASIS team in all tasks in a 24x7 support environment and as directed by Support Management. Familiar with STIG requirements and resolution. Security + is a requirement.

Duties and Responsibilities (including all essential job functions)

• Perform as Basis administrator, performing tasks of installations and upgrades
• Assist/perform migrations of SAP systems from one data center to another
• Remediation of STIG findings (Application and Database)
• Support all SAP installations including ECC, BW, SCM, EWM, PI, EP, GRC, MII, Solution Manager
• Hands on BOBJ
• Perform Oracle Database work as required, including application of Oracle support patches (opatches).
• Support the Transport Management system
• General technical problem solving
• System refreshes as needed, using SAP BRtools.
• System monitoring on a daily basis
• End User support (24x7 support), including some overnight/weekend on-call support.
• Perform performance tuning
• Support pack application as needed
• Perform database and client copies as needed

Critical Knowledge:

• Experienced and Knowledgeable of all aspects of SAP systems
• Oracle
• Understand migrations of SAP systems
• Netweaver 7.0
• Knowledge of ABAP and Java
• UNIX
• Knowledge of SAP HANA and SAP Business Objects

• Ability to perform the following
