ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Understanding sales terms and functions
- Entering orders received from our National Rep Firm and agencies
- Monitoring and helping to execute all national and corporate sales orders and campaigns
- Processing make-goods and exceptions for national and corporate orders which will in many cases entail working closely with the traffic department
- Communicating regularly with our National Rep Firm and agencies via email and phone
- Engaging with and monitoring the National Rep Firm order system
- Creating presentations, sales kits and recaps primarily for national use
- Must have reasonable knowledge of and experience with PowerPoint
- Participating in local market sales, promotions, and programming meetings as requested in order to represent national sales and to bring opportunities for revenue generation back to the National Sales team
- Managing National Sales Pending Reports on an ongoing basis
- Assist in collections with national agencies and accounts
- Providing clerical support including filing of contracts
- Assisting with national promotions such as remotes and events
- Entering digital orders and digital components into Ando or similar system
- Assisting with receptionist desk duties when needed
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: - Flexible schedule, with the ability and willingness to work varied hours on the weekdays, and weekends
- Excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and effectively manage time
- Self-starter, with the ability to take and follow direction
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with the station's clients and listeners
- Can work well independently and as an integral part of the team
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE - Must be at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Must have at least 2 years of driving experience
