A multidisciplinary design and planning firm is seeking an experienced Landscape Architect Project Manager to join its team in Durham/ Raleigh, North Carolina . This role involves leading complex landscape architecture projects, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams, managing client relationships, and mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a passion for innovative, sustainable design and proven project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor landscape architecture staff across all project phases.
• Manage projects from concept through completion, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule adherence.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to develop project designs.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and project documentation.
• Maintain client relationships and support business development efforts.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
• Improve project workflows and support team growth.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
• Professional registration (RLA/PLA).
• 7+ years of relevant design and project management experience.
• Experience with diverse project types and entitlement/site planning processes.
• Strong understanding of industry standards, budgeting, and sustainable design.
• Ability to lead teams and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing and mentoring junior staff.
