We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Project Manager in the manufacturing industry, located in HAUPPAUGE, New York, 11788-3916, United States. As a Project Manager, you will be in charge of managing multifaceted enterprise projects and ensuring their successful execution within given timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee complex enterprise projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards
• Facilitate the intake of projects from various departments and manage the prioritization of the project portfolio
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and workstreams to outline project goals, scope, requirements, tasks, and dependencies
• Translate business requirements into business requirement documentation by engaging with business leaders and subject matter experts
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, tasks, and identification of critical paths and dependencies
• Oversee risk, issue, and change management processes, and collaborate with leaders to implement mitigation plans when needed
• Track and provide updates on program status, develop and maintain KPIs and quantitative measures of project success
• Drive business analysis for strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives
• Document business requirements to support project objectives and execute test plans to ensure the functionality, quality, and performance of implemented solutions
• Lead workshops, meetings, and discussions to gather requirements, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus among stakeholders
• Utilize multiple project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile.
• Develop and maintain documentation standards, including business requirements, user stories, epics, functional specifications, process flows, test plans, user stories, and user acceptance criteria
• Identify and map current state process inefficiencies, gaps, and future state improvement opportunities
• Manage stakeholder expectations and lead communication efforts to ensure transparency across functional departments regarding project and program progress
• Collaborate with business units to challenge assumptions and deliver the best solution
• Identify opportunities to improve business practices for efficiency and revenue generation
• Develop reports describing improvements in and health of processes, operations, and business performance using MS Excel, Access, and Power BI.• Must have a strong understanding and practical experience with Atlassian Jira
• Knowledge of Cloud Technologies is essential
• Must have proficiency in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools
• Must possess database management skills
• Familiarity with EO/IR systems is required
• Experience with About Time software is beneficial
• Must have a solid understanding of Agile Scrum methodology
• Proficiency in budget processes is necessary
• Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Familiarity with construction industry processes is beneficial.
