Summary of Position
Teach five Economics classes, as scheduled, for each Fall and Spring semester. Work with students to help maximize their success at CTC . Assist colleagues to maintain curriculum for Economics courses; assist with development/maintenance of master courses for online delivery. Participate in student groups, college committees, and departmental work groups, to help advance CTCs mission of providing accessible, equitable and quality educational opportunities that promote student success, completion and employability.
Minimum Required Education
Masters Degree from a nationally, regionally or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education required with minimum requirements include eighteen graduate credit hours in Economics; coursework must align with ECON courses listed in the CTC college catalog.
Minimum Required Experience
Prefer one year of higher education teaching experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ Demonstrated written and oral communications skills.
+ Must be knowledgeable in the subject being taught.
+ Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Blackboard LMS ,
+ Computer skills including downloading and installing software, sending and receiving e-mails with attachments.
