Job Type: Full-time

Pay/Salary: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour DOE

Hours of Work: Night S (7 PM – 7 AM)

Crouch Staffing Solutions, Inc. in Hewitt, TX is hiring for a Production Assistant to support machine operators and ensure smooth, efficient production processes. This role is ideal for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. Teamwork is essential, as you will work closely with operators and other team members to maintain a safe and productive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Operators with setting up and operating various production machines, including slitters, roll formers, and unwind stations.
• Serve as a B ackup Operator when needed, ensuring workflow continuity.
• Operate and maintain forklifts and other production equipment.
• Conduct in-progress and post-production inspections to ensure quality control.
• Follow precise job specifications and adhere to all safety and quality assurance standards .
• Complete necessary production documentation accurately and on time.
• Load and unload delivery trucks and trailers.
• Work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment .
• Demonstrate reliability and flexibility to work up to 60 hours per week when necessary.
• Lift and handle materials weighing 50-75 lbs as part of daily duties.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills:

• High school diploma or GED required .
• At least six months of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Work Environment:

• Climate-controlled facility with frequent involvement in the manufacturing area.
• Requires standing, walking, reaching, stooping, and kneeling throughout the shift.
• Some lifting of moderately heavy materials is required.
