Harlan County Health System is seeking a dedicated PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a unique dual role that supports both Sterile Processing and the Outpatient Clinic. This position plays a vital role in patient safety and quality care by ensuring proper sterilization of instruments and equipment while also providing compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients in the clinic setting.
What You’ll Do:
Clean, sterilize, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment to the highest safety standards.
Support outpatient clinic operations with assessments, medication administration, and direct patient care.
Assist providers with procedures and patient education.
Work collaboratively with physicians, providers, and fellow staff to ensure safe, high-quality care.
