KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Physical and Technical Security Manager to join our team supporting a government client with locations in Washington Metropolitan Area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • As the Physical and Technical Security Enterprise (PTSE) Manager you will oversee a team that is responsible for the physical security systems and countermeasures for the customer's sites. Your team will ensure the workforce is protected and safe and protect facilities by providing secure and protected environments both physically and technically. Your team will provide a variety of technical, security, and administrative support tasks focused on ensuring that only approved individuals can enter the customer's facilities. This includes visitor control, badging services, as well as providing security monitors to ensure that uncleared individuals can move throughout the building to complete necessary tasks.
  • As the PTSE manager, you will also be responsible for O&M, installation and upgrade of physical and technical security and countermeasure systems to include access control systems, video surveillance systems, barrier systems, perimeter fencing, and screening systems. You will lead a team that will operate, design, perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency maintenance of the existing and future security systems for the customer. This will include installing repairing expanding, and decommissioning systems to protect installations. You will be involved in the engineering, installation, maintenance, and operation of a variety of physical security systems, including access control, intrusion detection, video management systems solutions. Assist with Secure Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) management tasks to include record-keeping and inspection/survey coordination. You will develop and then execute a Preventive Inspection Testing and Maintenance (PITM) Plan to verify proper operation; detect failures for the security systems and correct the any issues that may arise during PITM.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with willingness to sit for a poly upon request
  • 12 years' experience with large, complex requirements of similar scope of experience
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) certification such as Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) from the Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE); and a Certified System Engineer ICAMS PACS (CSEIP) certification
  • 5+ years of experience in physical security, security system design, or a related field.
  • Understanding of risk assessments, security operations, and technology solutions.
  • Experience in the maintenance of physical security systems to include having knowledge of the equipment, parts and components of physical security and the management and maintenance of those parts.
  • Experience creating master security plans and technical design documentation
  • Experience providing end user training on physical and technical security systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical security concepts for diverse audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to change, and make informed decisions under pressure
Desired:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Security Management, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent certifications in the Information Technology and/or Management disciplines.

Basic Compensation:

$75,300 - $113,000

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
