We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLP-A) to support students across grades K–8 in a school setting in the Boston area. The SLP-A will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide high-quality therapy services that promote communication, academic achievement, and social success.

Key ResponsibilitiesImplement therapy activities designed by the supervising SLP that target speech, language, fluency, voice, and social communication skills.
Support students in achieving their IEP goals and ensure services are delivered with fidelity.
Collect, record, and report data on student progress during sessions.
Prepare instructional and therapy materials, visuals, and AAC supports.
Assist with speech and language screenings and informal assessments under SLP guidance.
Collaborate with general education teachers, special educators, and related service providers to ensure communication strategies are embedded throughout the school day.
Maintain compliance with FERPA, IDEA, and school policies.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and supervision check-ins.
Other responsibilities as designated by the supervisor
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
Current Massachusetts licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (or eligibility to obtain).
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse school community.
Preferred:
Previous experience in a school setting.
Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
