Seeking a versatile, passionate Packaging Operator I interested in making waves in an innovative segment of the craft beer market. Job Responsibilities:

Basic ability to package product into cans or kegs following all standard operating procedures, while also being able to complete production adjustments based on the changing needs of the business.

Able to master basic operations of each machine station, including starting and stopping machines, station setup, how to change a date code, proper placement of trays, where to put glue in, and packaging into machinery.

Monitor basic operations of packaging line machinery by shadowing Operator 2+.

Able to be trained to perform basic forklift operations.

Communicate with management and other packaging team members on the status of packaging.

Collect and submit pallet tags for cans, lids, and other packaging materials.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following OSHA and GMPs.

Familiarize with product and attend sensory pannels/off flavor training.

Basic ability to navigate Netsuite - builds pallet. Print pallet tags, etc.

Fills out daily packaging forms to update daily logs for CIPs, Cleaning, Downtime, etc.

Skills and Experience:

Previous manufacturing experience a plus.

Previous forklift experience preferred.

Basic computer skills - Word, Excel, email, NetSuite a plus.

High school diploma or GED required.

Job Details:

Location: Milford, CT & San Diego, CA breweries

Salary: Commensurate with experience - Base salary, commission, and opportunities for performance bonuses.

Packaging Operator I starts at $23 based on experience

Packaging Operator II starts at $25 based on experience

$4.00 Late night differential for the hours of 11 pm-5 am
