This is an excellent opportunity to join our dedicated team of 21 physicians and 10 advanced practitioners providing outstanding care at St. Luke's University Health Network. This position will reside our state-of-the-art Orwigsburg location including our partnership with the Geisinger Health System. In partnership with Temple University Transplant Program and Davita Dialysis, St. Luke's Nephrology Associates encompasses complete kidney disease care. Geisigner St. Luke's is a joint venture hospital that was developed Geisinger Health System and St. Luke's University Health Network with St. Luke's as the managing partner. The nearly $90 million dollar investment in the community opened in 2019 and is the first hospital built in Schuylkill County in over 90 years. The five year old hospital is situated on a 34 acre campus and is situated in South Schuylkill county just 8 minutes North of Route 78 and within an hour drive of the Lehigh Valley, LVH International, Lancaster, Hershey and Harrisburg region. Features of the campus include 50 private medical surgical rooms, a 10 bed intensive care unit supported by critical care anesthesia, a 13 bed emergency department, 4 operationg rooms, a procedure room as well all imaging modalities to include a newly installed Siemens Interventional Suite (2 nd install in nation). The campus is home to a growing group of specialists residing in a newly constructed Medical office building. The specialties onsite include: Cardiology, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Gynecology, Sports Medicine, Orthopedics, Pulmonary, Nephrology, Spine and Pain, Urology and Wound Care. The facility's accreditation and accomplishments include: Level IV Trauma, Primary Stroke, Chest Pain Center, Leapfrog A+ safety, Stroke Gold Plus Honor Roll, Elite and Target Typ II Diabetes Honor roll, CMS 5- Star Rated for patient experience with top decile patient experience in the Emergency and Inpatient departments.
