Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician

Our laboratory plays a critical role in patient care by performing a wide range of diagnostic tests on blood, tissue, and other body fluids. As an MLS/MLT, you will be a vital member of our team, performing these essential analyses to help physicians diagnose and treat diseases, monitor treatment effectiveness, and ensure patient safety.

We are seeking qualified candidates for both MLS and MLT positions. Here's a breakdown of the roles and qualifications:

Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS):

• Responsibilities: Perform complex laboratory analyses, calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment, analyze and interpret test results, communicate findings to healthcare professionals, ensure quality control and adherence to laboratory standards.
• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) or a closely related field, current ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) certification in a relevant area (preferred).

Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT):

• Responsibilities: Perform routine laboratory analyses under the supervision of an MLS, prepare specimens for testing, operate laboratory equipment, maintain accurate records, participate in quality control measures.
• Qualifications: Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or a related field, certification by the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS) (preferred).
