Job Title: Medical Assistant/Receptionist (Part-Time)

Location: Livonia, MI

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join our internal medicine practice in Livonia. This part-time position offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients in a professional and courteous manner
• Schedule and manage patient appointments
• Answer phone calls and handle patient inquiries
• Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes
• Maintain and update patient records
• Perform basic medical assistant duties, including taking vital signs and preparing patients for examinations
• Ensure the reception area is clean and welcoming
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a medical assistant or receptionist in a healthcare setting preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical assisting is a plus
