About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Marine Safety Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and compliant marine operations across our vessels, docks, and facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of maritime regulations and a passion for promoting a safety-first culture.

What Youll Do

• Oversee marine safety programs and ensure compliance with international and local maritime regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM, OSHA, etc.).
• Conduct vessel and dockside safety inspections, identifying risks and recommending improvements.
• Lead safety drills and training, including man-overboard, fire, and spill response.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, preparing reports and corrective action plans.
• Support emergency preparedness and response efforts.
• Collaborate with port authorities, Coast Guard, and other regulatory agencies.

What Were Looking For

• Experience in maritime operations, vessel safety, or port management.
• Strong knowledge of international and local maritime safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond effectively in emergencies.
• Relevant safety or maritime certifications (STCW, ISM/ISPS, OSHA, NEBOSH) a plus.
