Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled and experienced Marine/Outboard Technician(s) to join our team at Ryder's Cove Boat Yard. As a Marine/Outboard Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining marine systems and outboard motors. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge.

Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on marine systems and outboard motors
- Inspect and test engines to identify issues and determine necessary repairs
- Disassemble and reassemble engines, replacing faulty parts as needed

-Re-power outboard boats
- Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Marine/Outboard Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge of marine engines and outboard motors
- Proficiency in using schematics to diagnose electrical systems
- Familiarity with power tools and precision measuring instruments
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $40.00 per hour
