Summary : This position will be responsible for supporting the DTOH (Drug Testing Occupational Health) Team with a focus on leadership, staffing and the continuous development of all team members. This position is responsible for overseeing department performance while ensuring exceptional client experiences. In addition, this position will promote cooperation with other departments, and ensure the successful completion of goals to assist the organization. Responsibilities:

  • Execution
    • Assist in the development of efficiency-based technology that will simplify existing procedures
    • Maintain quality and timely service by enforcing quality and customer service standards, analyzing, and resolving quality and customer service problems, turnaround time, and recommending system improvements
    • Efficiently execute tasks with minimal supervision and follow-up.
    • Run reports from SQL as needed.
    • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Ownership
    • Manage standard procedures to ensure attainment of targeted productivity, turnaround time, and all outstanding search requests are processed
    • Accomplish department objectives by managing staff; planning and evaluating department activities
    • Manage client escalations to completion
    • Establish and maintain credible, professional relationships with external Clinic vendors
    • Manage workflows to ensure quality and timeliness of communication to client
    • Support changes and company direction as provided by senior management
    • Resolve personnel issues in partnership with Supervisors and Human Resources to maintain a positive work environment
  • First Team
    • Promote a positive work environment. Encourage team members to conduct daily tasks with efficiency and a positive outlook
    • Ensure regular and effective communication with direct reports on performance, goals, professional development, and coaching
    • Conduct quarterly performance evaluations
  • Design
    • Define objectives, identify and evaluate trends and options, choose a course of action, and evaluate outcomes
    • Review and adjust for season peaks in business and recruiting ramp-ups
    • Identify metrics around key performance indicators and aligning staffs efforts to meet the needs of the organization and our customer

Requirements

  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience
    • 3+ years of applicable experience with proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals in a healthcare or related industry; business to business experience is preferred
    • 2+ years of experience leading a team in a testing or medical environment.
    • Familiarity with electronic health records and data management systems.
    • Experience in a substance abuse testing and/or occupational medicine company is a plus
  • Skills
    • Strong and proven experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment with strong client facing responsibilities
    • Ability to problem solve, prioritize multiple projects, and adhere to business-critical deadlines
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Dedicated and ethical approach to business standards
  • Technical Proficiency :
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
    • Qualified in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet/Web.
  • Some travel required
