Director of Recruiting and Business Operations at Viaduct Our IT Director is responsible for and manages all IT activities in the organization. Ensures proper IT operations and plans necessary upgrades. Oversees the internal IT support function. The IT manager supports all employees in their daily IT needs. Ensures that the department milestones are met. Duties and Responsibilities Windows Server administration Active Directory NTFS File sharing Printer sharing Group policy Windows Software Update Services VMWare ESXi experience required DHCP, DNS experience required Office 365 (and AD Sync) in use and required experience Email filter and End Point Protection (Trend Micro currently in use) Responsible for the organization’s backup systems (currently using Synology Active Backup) PDQ Inventory and Deploy (non-Microsoft patches) Basic Linux knowledge Experience with switches and firewalls Barracuda Web Filter General knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Network security experience required Ability to assist and lead with the management of the organization’s cellular equipment and devices (both Android and iOS) Work with all managers and employees on a daily basis to solve the organization’s unplanned IT issues, in addition to any strategic plans. Required Skills and Abilities Must be organized, proactive, have attention to detail, and ability to multitask Have flexibility to manage day-to-day issues Resolve issues in a creative, efficient manner Appropriate technical information technology aptitude Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills used for helpdesk duties with the organization’s employees Ability to exercise tact, courtesy, and ethics when dealing with vendors, co-workers, and customers Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Must have flexibility with ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment Good written and oral communication skills. Strong sense of urgency needed.
