We are seeking an Interior Design Assistant to join our newly founded studio in DUMBO. We are looking for those who thrive in a collaborative team work environment motivated by creativity and commitment.

What you will do:

• Collaborate with clients to determine their needs, preferences, and budget constraints;
• Create design concepts and presentations using software such as AutoCAD and Adobe InDesign;
• Select color schemes, furniture, lighting, and materials while considering factors like sustainability and ergonomics;
• Develop detailed plans, including layouts, elevations, and renderings;
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure designs are implemented accurately;
• Create and continue relationships with vendors, and assist with keeping showroom library up to day;
• Manage project timelines and budgets effectively;
• Stay updated on industry trends and new materials to enhance design solutions.

Requirements:

• Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or related;
• Proven creative and professional experience in similar fields;
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and VRay;
• Strong knowledge of color theory, lighting design, and space planning;
• Ability to meet project deadlines;
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, contractors, and team members efficiently.
