Marathon Staffing is seeking reliable candidates for Direct Hire, 1st & 2nd Shift, Injection Mold Operators for Direct Hire positions available in Dadeville and Auburn, AL!! Injection Mold Operators are responsible for operating and maintaining injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic components. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include: Operate injection molding machines to produce plastic parts according to specifications. Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal performance and quality. Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions of finished products. Assemble components as needed, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and guidelines. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely as required. Requirements include: Proficiency in using hand tools and machinery, including lathes and other machining equipment. Experience with logic controllers for machine operation is highly desirable. Familiarity with plastics blow molding processes is a plus. Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a warehouse setting. Prior experience in manufacturing or related fields is advantageous.
