Batch Freight is looking for a dedicated Freight Broker to join our growing team. In this role, you will act as a liaison between shippers and carriers, ensuring that freight is transported efficiently and cost-effectively. You will need to build strong relationships with both clients and carriers, negotiate contracts, and coordinate logistics operations. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with shippers and carriers
• Negotiate rates and contracts with transport providers
• Manage freight shipments from origin to destination
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Provide exceptional customer service to both shippers and carriers
• Utilize logistic software and tools to monitor shipment status
• Resolve any issues that arise during transport in a timely manner

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Freight Broker or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of freight operations and logistics
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficient in logistics software and tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred
