About the Role

As our Shop Service Manager , you’ll oversee the 24/7 maintenance operations of a busy diesel truck repair shop. You’ll manage a team of skilled technicians, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and deliver superior service to our customers—all while fostering a positive, productive, and safe workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and support shop staff with TCI’s Core Values at the forefront.

  • Oversee preventative maintenance, repairs, and fleet needs.

  • Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety requirements .

  • Build strong relationships with customers and address service concerns.

  • Recruit, train, and mentor top talent.

  • Manage budgets, costs, and operational productivity.

  • Conduct regular safety and shop meetings.

Qualifications: 

  • 10+ years diesel technician experience.

  • 5+ years shop management experience.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

  • Familiar with DOT & OSHA regulations.

  • Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) a plus.

  • Proficient computer skills.

Compensation:

  • Salary: Starting $70K (based on experience)
