Job Description:
\nWorks from blueprints, work orders, and verbal instructions to produce high quality welds from a variety of exotic metals. May program, set up and operate robotic welding machines.
\nResponsibilities:
\nWelds metal components to fabricate products, parts or equipment.
\nRepairs products of parts by straightening or reshaping with or without the use of heat and/or hydraulic equipment.
\nAchieve or surpass routed standards.
\nCalculate side lengths and/or angles using trigonometric charts and tables.
\nFigure flat layout, setup and operate various equipment to form sheet, plate and structural shapes to produce properly sized material.
\n Qualifications:
Experience in MIG & TIG welding of carbon steel, stainless, Inconel and aluminum.
\nAbility to run basic fabrication equipment (shear, cut-off saw, etc.)
\nAbility to read blueprints and weld symbols.
\nMinimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
\nExperience with robotic weld machines is a plus.
