Job Overview: Making sure you fit the guidelines as an applicant for this role is essential, please read the below carefully. We are looking for Experienced Tax Preparers to join our team! You will be responsible for income tax return preparation for individual and businesses (Schedule C, Corporations, etc.). We are also looking for Bookkeepers who are experienced in maintaining accounts for small to large businesses, able to identify with credits and liabilities and ensure accuracy and thorough account reconciliation along with maintenance of accounts receivable and accounts payable. Must complete forms in accordance with company policies and in compliance with legislation and regulations (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Preparer Tax Identification Number required (will assist). Duties:

• Prepare and file various types of tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Provide tax planning advice to clients
• Conduct research on tax laws and regulations
• Review financial records to ensure accuracy in tax reporting
• Assist clients with estate planning and other financial services
• Prepare tax returns using electronic filing software
• Assist clients in receiving maximum allowed tax benefits permitted
• Resolve client issues
• Compute taxes owed by following the tax code

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA certification preferred
• Proficiency in tax laws, debits, credits, and financial software
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Experience in estate planning is a plus
• Ability to invest time in continuous learning and professional development

Education: * Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience:

• Bookkeeping: 3 years (Required)
• Tax experience: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• CPA (Preferred)
• Driver's License (Required)

Ability to Relocate: * Warsaw, NC 28398: Relocate before starting work (Required) Willingness to travel: * 25% (Preferred) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Warsaw, NC 28398
