Full-time onsite position as an Engineering Assistant to create technical/engineering drawings for various signs and sign parts as requested. Inspect stock parts prior to receiving parts into inventory.

Pay range $18 to $20 hourly

Temp to Hire

Located downtown near the Atlanta Zoo

Responsibilities:

• Follow regulatory standards to designs and create visual drawings of sign products.
• Inspect onsite inventory stock parts for exact measurements and any damages. Approve parts to be added to inventory for production.
• Assist in other areas in engineering as needed.

Skills Required:

• Knowledge and understanding of working mechanics.
• Knowledge and ability to read/understand technical drawings.
• Proficient in Ashlar Vellum Graphite CAD Software, MS Office (Outlook) or Macintosh email.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Proficient in Ashlar Vellum Graphite CAD Software, MS Office (Outlook) or Macintosh email.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Must have excellent math and measuring skills.
• Must be able to inspect product components using digital caliper.
• Must have good office and computer organization.

• FileMaker Pro 5
