We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Elementary Math Instructor to join our Virtual Campus team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about making math both engaging and accessible to young learners.

Ideal Candidates Should:

Have a natural ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts, making them fun and understandable for early elementary students.
Foster a student-driven learning environment that promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, and encourages students to take an active role in their learning.
Possess strong virtual classroom management skills, keeping young students engaged and focused using platforms like Zoom.

What You'll Do:

Teach motivated elementary school students in a dynamic online environment.
Deliver interactive lessons based on our problem-solving-focused curriculum that prioritizes deep understanding over rote memorization.
Work with small classes (averaging 12 students) of high-performing, eager learners who are passionate about math.
Create an enriching virtual classroom experience that challenges advanced students while ensuring they stay engaged and actively participate.

Skills & Experience Required:

A bachelor's degree in a STEM field is required; a master's degree or higher is a plus.
Proven experience teaching or tutoring elementary to middle school students.
Preferred: Experience working with advanced or gifted students, particularly in mathematics at the elementary level.
Proficiency with virtual teaching platforms like Zoom.

Additional Notes:

A formal teaching credential is not required for this position.

Schedule:

Our online courses are offered after school and on weekends to accommodate students' schedules.
Classes are held between 4 PM ET and 10 PM ET Monday to Friday, and from 10 AM ET to 9 PM ET on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).

This is a remote, virtual teaching position.
Compensation & Benefits:

$30 per hour
