DC Engineering is seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Drafter/Designer to join our growing team in Meridian, Idaho.

What You’ll Do:

As part of our electrical design team, you’ll help bring commercial buildings to life by:

• Creating and updating electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Collaborating with electrical engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet project goals and technical standards.
• Translating sketches, redlines, and technical notes into accurate construction documents.
• Maintaining organized records of drawings, revisions, and documentation.
• Assisting with the development and refinement of drawing standards and templates.
• Supporting engineering and production teams with drafting-related tasks.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

We welcome candidates with any of the following backgrounds to apply:

• Formal training in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field (certificate, diploma, or degree).
• On-the-job experience in engineering drafting.
• A combination of education and experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office software, PDFs, Bluebeam and general computer experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Understanding of electrical systems, symbols, and codes (e.g., NEC).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to adapt to new situations and changes with a positive, customer-focused attitude
• Ability to help develop and meet project design goals as defined by supervisor.
